Die Band

Some bands are founded because musicians want to start a band. CAVE wasn’t.

It began in a small basement studio in southern Germany – the room Chris’s sister jokingly called “the Cave.” Friends met there after work to write songs they genuinely believed in, with no deadlines and no market in mind. When former Metal Church vocalist Ronny Munroe heard the first demos, a one-off recording project became a real band.

CAVE has never let a genre limit its music – melodic, progressive, heavy, emotional, epic. A song only leaves the studio when everyone in the room smiles, nods and knows the same thing: “That’s a CAVE song.” Built on friendship long before it became a band.
